Joey spent her summer in Capeside doing a lot of reading, working...。乡下车夫仪三郎（田村高广 饰）的妻子阿石（吉行和子 饰）勤劳善良，仪三郎不在家时，村里终日游手好闲的浪荡子丰次（藤龙也 饰）屡次向她献殷勤，她都不为所动，但是，她终没抵挡住丰次年青强健的身体的诱惑，两人更为了长相厮守，于某个暴风雪的夜晚勒死了仪三郎，并把他的尸体投入枯井。丰次出于罪恶感，每天 会把落叶倒入枯井。 三年之后，村里人议论仪三郎的鬼魂出现，阿石也开始受到仪三郎鬼魂的骚扰，逐渐无法承受心理上的重压，而为了打消村里人的怀疑，丰次再次杀人。当丰次和阿石冒险进入枯井想将仪三郎的遗骨转移时，却与他的鬼魂不期而遇。。以一副古老的唐卡地图贯穿全片，以人物说民俗，用民俗讲故事，从故事看风景的叙事风格，构成了一部真实、平实、自然而又神秘的西藏民俗宝典。这是首部用本土化的眼光、乡情、亲情介绍西藏的纪录片。。
