该片从毛主席回忆雷锋生前一张张可敬可爱的微笑照片开始，全新讲述雷锋从一名普通战士成长为全军全国人民共同学习的榜样历程。。本作は、深川所属の芸能プロダクション「株式会社テンカラット」が設立25周年という節目に熊澤監督とタッグを組み、制作を企画したもの。『ユリゴコロ』や『ごっこ』でメガホンを取った熊澤監督が、自身の小説『おもいで写眞』（幻冬舎文庫）を実写映画化。“人が生きる豊かさと年を重ねる美しさ”をテーマに、夢に敗れ故郷へ戻った主人公・結子（深川）が祖父の残した写真館で遺影写真を撮り始め、その中で成長していく様を描き出す。。In the tenth series, in the second episode ("The Son'll Come Out") Michael comes out as gay to his parents, first to his father after coming home drunk then later to his mother. He then tells them that he has been in a relationship with a guy for some time, a 25 year old solicitor called Scott Marsh, who later moves into the Harper residence, though he is later seen in gay club...。
