故事发生在北京。丁伟（李健 饰）与冯川（肖肖 饰）相爱三年，第一次被冯川领回家见丈母娘（王丽云 饰），当岳母知道他没房子时，态度急转之下，明确表态没房甭想结婚。远在农村的父母知道了儿子的难处，千方百计给他筹钱，这让当儿子的丁伟十分愧疚，毕业几年了他还没给父母寄过一分钱。这期间，冯川妈见丁伟买房无望，就张罗着给女儿介绍有车有房的罗杰（郭晓秋 饰），冯川死活不同意。丁伟费尽周折靠贷款买下房子，但还贷的压力接踵而来，他与冯川的生活水平直线下降，两人的感情也随之发生了变化，这让丁伟苦不堪言，他开始反思自己的生活……。Andy is a writer for newspaper classifieds who has been bouncing from relationship-to-relationship since sixth grade.
