本片是改编自原著作者Jean Hegland 的同名小说，故事描述一对姊妹在不久的未来中，因面对各种分崩离析的社会问题，一同努力求生存的另类末日题材。。Roscoe and Buster operate a combination garage and fire station. In the first half they destroy a car left for them to clean. In the second half they go off on a false alarm and return to find their own building on fire.。
