The family itself encapsulates the culture clash that is at the cen...。背井离乡在东京闯荡的多香子（常盘贵子饰），虽然一直梦想成为一名卓越出色的电影编剧，但是时至今日她依然名不见经传。某天，她突然接到了一通时隔三十年之久的电话，对方是她高中时代的好朋友绿（田中美里饰）。此时绿只剩下短短几个月的生命，这一消息无疑令多香子大为震惊。在此之后，她辗转联系上了她们的另一个朋友，和美国人结婚的绘里香（藤田朋子饰），可是得到的则是冷漠的回应。当初多香子背负着高中时代的悲伤回忆离开家乡，再没有回去看上一眼。因绿的事情，她总算回到了这个依旧积累着无限烦恼的伤心之地。走在熟悉的街道上，往昔美好的记忆相继浮现。 三个好朋友曾在当地的名画座欣赏歌舞片，也曾在烧烤铺唧唧喳喳地聊天，还曾暗恋着英俊的前辈。而今等在这里的，却只有悲哀的现实和无法避免的别离……。
