电影讲述了报社记者、业余网络悬疑故事作家追查十年前发生在“谜镇”的几件知名鬼事的真相，根据匿名电话来到了所有传闻最早开始的地方，而十年过去后，这个地方因为闹鬼已经成了无人居住的鬼楼。随着真相慢慢揭开，他自己似乎也陷入了危险之中……。描述在1936年的东北，年轻寡妇胡秀芝为夫报仇，参加了抗日联军，被锻炼成一名刚强的战士。在一次完成炸毁敌军列车的任务后，为牵制敌人而把他们吸引到牡丹江畔，指导员冷云不幸牺牲。在日军重重围困下，弹尽粮绝的胡秀芝和她的七个姊妹视死如归，背起冷云的尸体一齐沉没在牡丹江中。。In this powerful documentary, Mama Yang, an 84-year-old woman living in New York, finds herself in correspondence with 45 high security prison inmates she views as her own children. Most are Chinese American immigrants, and see in Mama Yang a mother figure they never knew before they stepped through prison walls. For Mama Yang though, the story is about more than Christian char...。
