本劇以民國40、50年代助產士的產業特色為主軸，更帶入蕉農與商人間的故事，刻劃早期台灣社會經濟發展的縮影。。警方锁定以降头尊为首的制毒团伙。队长秦峰（于晓光饰）指挥作战，势如破竹，攻下制毒工厂，而降头尊趁乱逃离。并把秦峰的弟弟炸伤成为植物人，终生不会醒来，秦峰痛心疾首。宋业豪（张赫饰）内疚自责，无法面对昔日队友，引咎辞职。一年后，秦峰的小姨子卷入裸贷风波，坠楼死亡，警方调查后发现与降头尊有关。当获知降头尊的消息，宋业豪决定暗中协助秦峰，揪出降头尊为兄弟报仇......。When a gruesomely staged body is found, propped up on a mountain pass in the Alps close to the German-Austrian border, two detectives are sent to investigate.
