本片讲述了杨戬为救在桃山中遭受磨难的母亲瑶姬，拜在玉鼎真人门下，历经千难万险重重考验，终于收服神兽拿到了神器，在将反派重明制服后使得天下安定，最终灾难被平息，一家人得以团聚，杨戬终成为一代战神的故事。。故事以纪录片的方式展开，一队纪录片摄制组采访了一位深居简出的疯人画家，但之后他们发现这位疯子似乎人间蒸发了，而他们这部纪录片成为解谜的关键。而片尾疯子那句“我们到底谁才是疯子？”令人颇感神秘。。The film follows a troubled teen named Noah (Ethan Drew), who nearly gets caught stealing a top-secret gadget from some big city thugs.
